Our Finishes

Hansen’s offers a variety of finishes and solid concrete colours for a bespoke garden decor item to fit in with your design needs.

The most popular of our finishes is the stain finish. This process is labour intensive, done entirely by hand, and produces truly unique pieces. Refer to video below for an example of this process. The stains will not wash off or fade in the sun under normal use. An industrial strength sealer is applied over every stained item.

Another custom option is the use of a coloured concrete tint which is added during the initial mixing stages of the concrete. The whole piece will be one unified tonal colour such as bone white, dark charcoal grey, or ochre/terracotta.

TO NOTE: ALL STAIN FINISHES ARE APPLIED BY HAND AND VARIATIONS BY PIECE WILL OCCUR.

For a CUSTOM STAIN FINISH, ADD 50% to the price appearing on the website or in the catalogue. For example, a piece in plain concrete that costs $100 (plus tax) will cost $150 (plus tax) for a stained finish.
